I ride Angeles Crest when it's not burning, but most the time I ride Palomar and other places further south. The price we pay for living in Orange County.

I'm usually busy weekend mornings, but I ride and lead rides from 1 PM on. I'm up in Sylmar so I/we ride to the beaches, the lakes, the canyons, Ojai, Palmdale, Malibu, San Diego, etc. I lead NortheastValleyRiders and Valley Vintage Motorcycle meetups. I also ride my horses and, occasionally, I hang glide.

This pic is at the intersection of the 166 and Cerro Noroeste, for those of you who have not traveled this loop, wow you do NOT know what your missing.

Just great F'in roads up here. Check out this loop: take Hwy 33 up the mountain and out of Ojai. This 56 mile road is possibly one of the best anywhere in the world. About 40 miles or so in your gonna make a right on Lockwood Valley Road and run that puppy for 30 miles into Frazier Park where we usually fuel up. Head north on Cuddy Valley Rd. which becomes Mil Potrero Hwy. and which eventually becomes Cerro Noroeste which combine to another 30 miles of sheer uninterupted fun. Make a left at the intersection of the 166 and Cerro and a few miles up you can make a left and pick up the base of the 33 which will become your personal drag strip, for I got to say, at least 8 miles, to test your nuts as this stretch will let you go as fast as the bike will perform making that long stretch of straight before you are back into the twisties of heading back to Ojai.
